We wanted to visit the Holy Land and we don't like land trips. when my agent emailed me the information regarding this cruise, we jumped onboard. I am a true Viking fan, both River and Ocean. The itinerary was perfect , plus it allowed us extra time in Greece.

We booked the Athens Hilton, a beautiful stately hotel with great rooms and a amazing view from the eleventh floor.

the Viking Star is a beautiful ship, as are her sisters Sea and Sun. Our deluxe room had everything we needed and more. Our room steward was excellent in every way.. The food, the tours, the entertainment were all better than expected. We spent many hours in the World Café meeting new friends and enjoying great food as the wine never stopped flowing.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe veranda

The cabins onboard are simply lovely. the décor is warm and inviting. the beds are very comfortable, with large comfortable pillows. the warm bathroom floor is the icing on the cake.
