Let me say I have been on other Carnival ships over the years and also other cruise lines. Across the board this cruise ship would rate last of the eight ships I have been on. The theater shows were not varied - singers and dancers were high school show choir quality. Comedy shows were repeated. The ship was not easy to navigate. You had to go down decks and then back up to get from one end of the ship to the other. Public spaces, like the atrium was not large enough to hold the events. The spotlight lounge was not large enough nor designed well to hold comedy shows.

Food in the dining room tasted like bad buffet food. On elegant night, the prime rib could hardly be cut with a steak knife and had zero taste. All three of us were in agreement even though we had meats at different degrees of doneness. Discovered the buffet had better desserts and had to leave the dining room and go elsewhere for dessert.

Disembarkation was poorly planned and poorly executed. Even though the ship was late returning to Port Canaveral, times distributed for areas to leave the ship were before the ships arrival. This caused a mass of cruisers on the gangway deck with limited cruise line personnel to keep any resemblance of order.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin was on deck 9. Plenty of storage room, plus was large enough for three adults. Good location but neighbors smoked on their balcony and ship "investigated twice" after compliants but no results. The balcony wall is a door and a window, it is not as enjoyable as a full view sliding patio glass. Room steward was excellent.
