Had the misfortune of sailing from Charleston, SC to the Bahamas in a cold snap. There was no heat on the ship, not even in the staterooms. Had to sleep under 2 comforters and in 2 robes with towels wrapped around my legs the first 2 nights. Also had to wear a fleece jacket in the Dining room every night. The cigarette smoke from the casino made walking on the port side of the 9th floor unbearable.
The good things that made the cruise "average" was the great staff, Fun crew, food and company. My dining room attendants exhibited some great dance moves! The crew also put together a lot of holiday themed events, including a snow event in the atrium. The holiday decorations were very festive. As always, the Fun and Marrage show was a hoot.
But the lack of heat will prevent me from ever sailing on this ship during the winter months ever again.
Went to the beach and had a good time for no additional cost!
Just went around the cruise center. Nice setup.
