I took this cruise mainly because I had never been on the Jade before. I have done the Sky, Sun, Spirit and Pearl. I love the smaller size ships and just feel more comfortable with less passengers and it somehow makes it more personal for me. T whhe embarkation process was a breeze, mind you we were platinum so we virtually walked right on the ship. The refurb was delightful and I just loved everything about it from the minute I got onboard. My friend and I have separate cabins on the 8th Deck right next door to each other. Obstructed Ocean View was exactly what I expected it to be. The ports were fabulous and the staff were just great. Especially the waiter from Pit Stop and Spinnaker. His name was Roy Asmara and he excelled in his service. Remembered our order each and every time, called us by our names and quite literally was our hero of the cruise. The entertainment was first class and especially The Vegas Tenors!!...outstanding!!..We got a great deal and the Distinct Voyagers Package just sealed the deal. The Cruise Director and staff were friendly and personable. My only gripe, was the DJ in spinnakers lounge...he never played to the audience or age group....When you play songs and everyone is dancing and then you change the beat and the dance floor empties then thats not ROCKET SCIENCE....we dont like the change in music...Food was awesome everywhere I ate with maybe the exception of Modernos....which was unfortunate as i enjoyed that so much on the Epic. Will definately be on this ship again the near future...great job NCL
