Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom

We selected this cruise not only for the great price we received, but also, to celebrate 20 years of cruising with the Majesty being our first cruise.

Live less than an hour's drive from Port Canaveral, Orlando would be the last place I would want to go. We checked in about 1300 hrs and it went smooth as silk. No lines and our stroll to the ship was not long.

The ship was as we remembered with just a few modifications on the pool deck and deck 11. Our cabin, 9042, we perfect. RCC may classify it as obstructed, but seeing just the top of the life boats did not cause any inconvenience to seeing the panorama. The cabin was classified as "superior outside..." It is larger then the standard outside.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin SO

Sufficient room for storage and lounging. Nice effect having a two-person sofa in it. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was superb. Bit of a small tv screen, but it was acceptable. Good shower, but rarely sufficient hot water in the basin. Didn't care for cold-water shaving. Didn't complain. Was a good excuse not to shave every day. Cabin steward did a good job maintaining the cabin, but we didn't meet him until the 3rd day out when, but accident, ran into him in the hall. Fist time this ever happened in 20 years of cruising. Usually, they are there on the first day to tend to our needs.
