I picked this ship because the price was excellent, the ship looked amazing and the entertainment was a little different. It definitely was not a disappointment. I won't sugar coat it. There is room for some improvement but I feel this line is well on its way to becoming a popular choice for American and Canadian cruisers as much as it already is to other worldwide travelers. The entertainment on this ship was exceptional! I loved that they had opera, ballet, acrobatics incorporated into the nightly entertainment and that the entertainment staff was so enjoyable and talented. Contrary to many negative reviews, I never found staff members to be rude...other passengers perhaps but not crew. The cruise line can not be blamed for the lack of courtesy of passengers except in that space/ passenger ratio is a bit tight in certain areas. I didn't eat a great deal in the Calumet Buffet but what I did eat there was really good. I kind of stuck to Italian, pizza and burgers though. The burgers and fries were really good, as was the pizza and the desserts....delish! My friend tried lots of other things and didn't seem to dislike anything either. We ate in the Black Crab most of the time and I always found something I liked. Best Lasagna bolognase ever! Ordered it 3 times. I had been carb restricted the last 2 years so I ate everything I had been missing, like pizza, pasta and french fries! We did dine in the Galaxy one night and the steak melted in your mouth and the scallops were just so succulent. We went there on the Captains Formal night so it was virtually empty, Great staff. Beautiful venue. I am not a big drinker but I loved Caffe Italia as I am a coffee addict. Luisa, who waitressed there was such a sweetheart. Always gave us extra Venchi chocolates.Speaking of...loved the gelato! I really have very few complaints about this ship. I do think the crew/ passenger ratio is too high in the dining areas especially. I have a mobility disability and was not impressed by the lack of handicapped accommodation. Why put handicapped stalls in restrooms without automatic door access to them? Actually, there were NO automatic doors anywhere. There could also be improvement for embarkation/ disembarkation for disabled passengers as well. But in general, I LOVED

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

The cabin space was a bit tight but that was mostly because I needed a handicapped stateroom not a regular room.
