THE GOOD...

This was our second cruise on this magnificent ship. On this trip, the ship was the name of the game. RC has service honed to perfection. The on-deck attractions are state of the art and fun for the whole family. The solarium is a peaceful getaway from the active pool deck, and it's cafe is much less crowded than the Windjammer Cafe.

The main dining menu has been upgraded since last year and the food was noticeably better this time around. The specialty restaurants are superb. 150 Park has changed it's menu and no longer offers wine pairings, but still presentd a fine dining experience. Sabor, the Mexican restaurant on the Boardwalk is worth a shot. Wonderland is quite unique and the cuisine is hi-tech fun.

Cabin Review

Cabin superior stateroom w/ balcony

The cabin was a bit tight and the balcony small but adequate for two people. Try for a junior suite if they are available, but they do sell out quickly.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

We took an open tram into town. It costs $4.00 and is a bargain. The island was in a bad way. There were buildings devastated, trees on cars, well you get the idea. Not pleasant to see. Stores which were open (not many) had no electricity.

San Juan

We walked the Old Town which is at your feet when you disembark. While much of the town (about 20 blocks or so) was spared the brunt of destruction which devastated the island, most places were without electricity.

Labadee

We LOVE this stop. It is an absolute delight in every way. (The BBQ could be better, but who's complaining)
