Having been on Oceania's small ships we wanted to try their larger ships. The Rivera with one thousand passengers has the feeling of a small ship. The specialty restaurants are as good as any I've dined and I've been on many cruise lines. Special kudos to Red Ginger & Jacques. The breakfast and lunch buffets were excellent with tremendous variety. The itinerary was the Eastern Caribbean, which means that we wanted some R&R since all the islands are basically the same and not much to speak of.This ship is not for kids or teen agers. It's for people who want to relax and just have a great time. The entertainment is okay not great. The cabins are very nice. I always choose a Concierge Cabin for the few extras. We had a terrible embarkation process for this cruise which I believe was a once in a blue moon occasion. Will definitely consider Oceania again.

Very nice cabin, bathtub and shower. Verandah was okay size wise.
