Cabin: Balcony

Were it not for the relentless noise I would really like this ship. Clean, bright, modern, great cabin, good food. Two problem areas: terrible entertainment and noise, noise, noise. 3,500 people cheering, chanting, arguing, laughing and talking is noisy enough but add amped up music, announcements about sales and the general din of engines and fans and you have no tranquility at sea. Perhaps the musicians and crew are deaf ... I nearly am after 7 days. The theatre shows (mimed singing) and trotting about a stage are amped to distortion level so you can't understand anyone who actually sings. Even the classical musicians who play in the worst possible place - the atrium - blast through microphones and huge speakers. Should I add that the lame comedians barely elicit a grin? I didn't attend their "adult" shows because I figured if you aren't funny in a regular show then you won't be funny with swearing and toilet talk. In the outdoor theatre they showed the same film twice.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Pleasant, clean, well designed.

Port Reviews

Montego Bay

Really ugly port with very aggressive sales people

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Best of the stops. Friendly honest people and free public beaches.

Cozumel

Very busy port with too many cruise ships stopping
