Cabin: Signature Superior Verandah Suite

We had no family to spend Thanksgiving with so we left the day after; we had gotten a great deal on this cruise AND the next one, so did both; great price on a Signature Suite. Loved the food; our newly remodeled room, always enjoy the ports and handy having Wifi reasonable 24 hours a day to keep in touch with the world. We are 4 Star Mariners so have a few advantages from that but loved having a few meals in the Cantelleto and the Steak House on 2. Entertainment was good; a magician we had seen before was very good; a so so Comedian. Weather was perfect this time of year in ports. Love Holland America This ship is just the right size for us; holds 2000 guests and the walk from stem to stern is easily done with plenty of room for nice shops, the Lincoln Center Entertainment and the Casino and Piano bar we just loved. Holland America has gone to twin Pianos and these two just played together and entertained Very well; really added to the evening.

Signature Superior Verandah Suite

Cabin SY

Loved the remodeled Suite; double sinks, drawers, Jetted tub and seperate shower; Huge Flat screen TV and couch with mini-bar and new European self closing drawers in nightstands!

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

A nice port; only hard part is all ships must tender as the port was developed and built-up for many Americans and Canadians before Cruise ships became fashionable so no where to tie up.
