waited too long to book and a ncl ship ended up canceling for repairs which made those passengers book all other cruises for those days so my wife and I got stuck booking the Bahamas Celebration. Didn't expect too much since this ship took over for imperial but this was ridiculous. the good reviews on this site must have been from people who never cruised. My wife and I only cruised once before on RC Majesty witch is one of there smallest ship and it is double the size of this. the food for the most part was just ok. no 24 hour place to eat....no room service, most shows are a joke except for a country singer Ronny playing there now who was great. very limited included. Not even cookies were included-had to charge them. Most cruises you can order whatever you want from the menu and are encouraged to do so and not be shy- this one I requested a vegi kabob from a different entree and was told I would have to wait till everyone was done. service was not even close to what is expected from a cruise-and we are not picky. Had to chase down waitress for water! only good service received was from room attendant and one bartender and Romanian masseuse girl-wife enjoyed it. Very unorganized, when you ask service desk something you will be told to come back several times like only one person can help you who worked 2 hours a day. and the constant announcements for selling you bingo and shore excursions every 10 min. don't end till your ride back. and prepare your self to be talked into a timeshare presentation as soon as you get to the terminal for departure(1 hour presentation that lasts 2.5 hours for 50-100 credit)which our 100 credit went to good use but be prepared for the "friendly" sales person to become a jerk as soon as he realizes there's no selling to you after the 1000 no. if you want to take your first cruise don't take this one, wait till a known cruise ship has a deal sep-dec or jan/feb. take rc or ncl 2-4 night bahama cruises for the same $ or a little more.

Best part was in Nassau and getting back home!

Cabin Review

cabins in the 8000's are ok for a couple but full be is 2 twins put together-very uncomfortable. has fold down bed hanging over regular bed. room on the small side for a oceanview, tv only has 9 semi-clear channels. Bath ok besides changing water temps.
