Cabin: Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

We had the cruise book for about in about 12 months in advance and wanted the experience of a mega ship. The mini suite was nice and the bathroom was large. One day we had to call guest services at 4:00 PM to have someone clean our room and other days it was late morning or early afternoon before the room stewart provided his daily services. As opposed to other NCL ships the food was not up to par, in fact, the first night out the food was the worst meal I had ever had on a NCL ship - grilled salmon.

We had chosen the dining package, ate at Cagney's twice - the food was great, but the service was terrible! We went to La Cucina only to find that the Chicken Parm was no longer on the menu (had it twice on the Jade and loved it). We were told that with 24 hour notice the chef could prepare the meal for us, so we went back the next night and the Chicken Parm was well worth the wait and the service was great. The entertainment on the ship was not up to par and the scheduling was a lot different then on NCL's smaller ships. We only had one chance an evening to see a show instead of the same show being offered twice an evening. Disembarkation was easy and fast. Because this experience, we will stay NCL's smaller ships.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MC

Balcony was very small - almost not enough room for two people.
