Sail Date: Dec 2017
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We sailed on Oasis in Dec 2013 and loved it so much we could not wait to sail on her again. We were not disappointed! Our cabin was on Deck 8, same level as Central Park and in my opinion, a perfect location to be. We had breakfast every morning in the Park Café and did not have to fight the crowds in the Windjammer. It was a short walk down the corridor to Central Park and we would sit out there in the evening and listen to music a few evenings. Our D7 balcony was clean and comfortable.

We had dinner in the MDR (My time) 5 nights, 1 dinner in Chops and 1 dinner in 150 Central Park. I was happy to see the MDR menus had been updated. Not as many selections but appetizers, entrée and dessert are all on the same menu. I thought the food in the MDR was better than previous cruises. The prime rib the first night was so tender it cut like butter! Chops was excellent ( as always) and it was our first time dining at 150. We really enjoyed everything we had there as well. The beef tenderloin carved table side was probably the best tenderloin I ever had!

Entertainment on Oasis is a few notches above other RCCL ships. We thoroughly enjoyed CATS and other than the gentle rocking of the ship, it could have been watching it on Broadway. The Oasis of Dreams water shows were canceled due to weather and rough seas but rescheduled for our last sea day. I was glad to see the show but it was exactly the same show I saw 3 years ago. I think it is time to retire it and produce another one. Same story with the Ice Show. I had see it on Freedom and Oasis 2 & 3 years ago. That being said, they were both still very good and entertaining.

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D7

Very comfortable with enough closet space. Located halfway between the center and forward elevators made it easy to get to them.
