We loved the ship! The decor and layout was so nice. The staff was superb! I felt like a queen, the way that they served us. The entertainment was pretty nice. You're not going to get all the huge shows like you will on a larger newer ship, but we had a great time for all the shows offered. The activities were fun, but I've seen a lot more variety on other ships this size. Playing trivia 5 times a day is fun, but there should be more activities available. They have "seminars", but they are just there to sell you on some product or service.

The main dining room, Tides, was very nice. If you go away hungry, you didn't try enough things. Windjammers was very very disappointing. For the most part, the food was cold and lacked flavor. There wasn't much variety either. I was on the ship for 2 weeks and never had a warm piece of toast. They actually ran out of syrup one day for breakfast. I waited 7 minutes for them to bring out more. By then my waffle was stone cold. That's crazy in my book. Desserts were dry. Basically, if food is important for your cruise, I wouldn't recommend this ship.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

The room was very nice. On our first night the mattress springs were almost poking out. It was incredibly uncomfortable. So the next morning I went to Guest Services and told them about it. Within 2 hours we had a new mattress. It was still hard, but we slept pretty good from that point on. I found out that you can ask for additional comforters to be added to the bed to make it more like a pillow top. There were many places to put your belongings. The closet was roomy enough for 2 adults staying for 2 weeks. I was able to completely unpack and have everything put away. The room is close to the elevators, but we never experienced much noise because of it. Actually, we never had any noise issues. The balcony was a very nice size. The bathroom set up was also nice. The shower was large enough to comfortably move around. You can't go wrong with this room

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

We took a taxi to the beach and bummed out all day. We went to the Secret Harbor. It wasn't packed with people. There was a great bar on the beach. Prices were very nice. $5 a chair and we sat in the shade. I don't know how much an umbrella would have been. The only negative thing was it costs $21 a person each way. So we spent $84 on just transportation. But we had a great time.

Antigua

The first week we decided to hit a bar and have fun people watching. It was a nice afternoon. The second week was very different. There were 4 ships in port. Everything was so crammed with people. We took this as a sign to get back on the ship and enjoy a day where most of the people were gone.
