Lets start with excursions....they are expensive when booked via Royal. We and many others found great island tours in the local on shore centers for a fraction of the price of booking on line or on ship. Just make sure you ask what kind of vehicle, does it have A/C, where do we go, how long does the tour take and how much. I was the deal maker and they always accepted my lower offer and paid after we returned.

Food in dining room and Windjammer was plentiful but average. Best meal and service we had was in Portofino, a sophisticated Italian restaurant. Wished we had gone earlier in the cruise and not the last night as we would have dined there again, it was that good.

FYI…. if you sign up for the internet option do it on line as it’s cheaper than on board. They say the basic price is for one device but it you turn off, let’s say phone/camera and log on to your tablet/computer that will work too. You just can’t have two logged on at the same time.

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Loved the extra room a Jr. Suite gives you as we normally get a Balcony Room. The walk in closet with tons of storage was the best! Veranda had two loungers and small round table with 2 chairs. In room frig was nice to have but items like bottled water and soda were way too expensive. Free multi item continental room service breakfast is great to have when you've planned an early excursion. Also had a full sized tub in case you like baths.
