There are many activities constantly happening on a ship of this size, some I couldn’t participate in as I was doing other things. The shows were all entertaining and enjoyable. As to the service aspect some improvement was needed. I had to ask for ice in my cabin the don’t do this anymore unless asked, also no lotion or hair conditioner unless you ask for it. The waiter never knew what the fish of the day was, forgot to take my dinner order one night and sometimes placed the wrong dinner plate in front of me. The Diamond Club ran out of paper cups for coffee everyday. ( you think they would remedy that if it happens everyday). The last morning no early coffee was available which made for very irrate passengers. The embarkation was quick and easy but the self debarkation was very unorganized. The crew lining up those of us to get off the ship with our luggage wanted us to line up outside on the deck, because the line was so long (temperature was 47 and terribly windy) I suggested that she line us up through the dining room, she said they were; when I moved up in line and reached the dining room she had only used the vestibule which held maybe 15 people in line. When the ship does this week after week you think they would figure out a better way to handle things that don’t work. The Captain was very entertaining in his announcements and graciously explaining the reason for returning to port for the emergency we had on board. This week Dec 3-10 is normally a good week to travel with a minimal number of children, but not this cruise the hot tubs were always full of kids and they seemed to scream through dinner every night (probably tired). Every cruise is a little different, and the things you enjoy or the ones you don’t have to be weighed against each other and I will continue to cruise RCL and other lines also as they all do things a little differently.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Didn’t get to use the balcony too much as the weather conditions wouldn’t comply ( wind and rain). If the bathroom sinks get any smaller you will have to brush your teeth in the shower. They did have lots of hooks in the bathroom for towels, robes and hanging accessories bags. Love that the shower stalls now have doors instead of windows.
