Sail Date: Dec 2017

We choose this cruise as we wanted to try Marella on a short cruise to the Canaries before booking a Caribbean cruise with them as they fly there direct.

Things did not start well when we waited on the plane to disembark for over 30 minutes then waited another hour for a coach + so much for not seeing your cases until you got to your cabin once checked in you had to collect your own and take them to the coach, which was chaos .

Dining..... buffet food looked like school dinners left out too long.... main dining room, dishes of the day were sometimes OK but not the sides chips inedible cold chunks of semi cooked potato in grease roasted just the same but thinner. The AA always available were always awful how can you make a chicken breast tougher than leather?

Cabin Review

Once on board the cabin was as expected but no clock, no tv guide, no shampoo....so make sure you take your own. Kettle only works when ALL the cabin lights are on so no cuppa in semi darkness on here its full illumination or do without. Then there is little matter of bedding...............grey threadbare and stained that applies to the sheets and towels and only 1 hand towel per cabin ......no mattress protectors.

Sheets for the next guest left in the wardrobe all week- huge cross infection issue there.
