We hadn't been to the Mexican Pacific Coast, and this was a perfect itinerary. While the ship wasn't new, it was perfectly clean and functional. We would have preferred to have the ports of call spaced out a bit instead of 3 in a row, but we know that geography precluded anything else.

We chose Club Class dining, and were very glad we did. We ate almost every meal on the boat there, and never had to wait for a table. In addition to the basic menu, there were always extra options from which to choose...we often picked those options. The quality was excellent and the service outstanding. We would definitely choose that option again.

We were a bit disappointed that very little about our port stops was available except for the obnoxious and repetitive focus on shopping. We would have liked to learn more about each stop before heading out.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MD

Cabin was quite roomy and laid out well. Plenty of space for clothes. Efficient and complete bathroom. Nice view and furniture on balcony. Bed was very comfortable.

I would have rated the cabin "Excellent" if it wasn't for 1 item about the balcony. We quickly noticed that due to the construction of the decks, our balcony extended out past the other balconies above us.. Therefore, when we were on the balcony, we were visible to half of the other balconies on that side of the ship. One person even called down to ask how I got a footstool for the balcony. Not that we needed it, but there was zero privacy on the balcony. I know it cannot be fixed, but it was still weird to be on display when on the balcony.

Also, our steward, Saul, was outstanding, taking care of us and cabin very well.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

We were on our own as our pre-planned tour was cancelled. If was nice to see the town on our own, but the early port time meant that many places weren't open when we 1st walked around. The short port time made the early start essential...We would love to spend more prime time there
