First time cruising the Panama Canal and it was amazing. Kind of wish I had gone for the full transit but with the partial transit you get a good idea of what it took to build the canal! The food in the ding ng room was great but the buffet wasn't up to my expectations. Also "Anytime dining" didn't really mean anytime. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. We were on the Riviera deck and it was very noisy with chairs and tables scraping and people running right above us on the Lido deck. I was disappointed I didn't hear about the mix and mingle until after it was over and I happened to run into a fellow port of call member in the casino. We booked an independent excursion through Dora in Cartegna and had a great experience. We booked 2 through Princess, one good in Panama and one not great in Costa Rica. There were some good shows but you had to wait almost an hour if you wanted to get in and get a good seat for the early show. Maybe they should consider 3 shows nightly instead of 2. Overall, I had a very enjoyable time!
