As the title suggests this was our first and last princess cruise. ive done over 20 cruises and never written a bad review so it pains me to do this as i go on vacation to relax not ,moan. we choose this cruise purely to go to hawaii and see the islands and on this it delivered, although we felt longer in port would have been better as there is so much to see and do.

we had a balcony cabin which was well appointed and spacious but the carpet belonged in a dumpster it was so old, our steward was great and he kept our cabin spotless.

As for the cruise the ship is old but quite well maintained, the food was mediocre and almost quite institutional at times, especially lunch i struggled every day to find something appetizing, the food was bland and tasteless and just looked like leftovers rehashed, this is the only cruise i have actually not put any weight on due to the quality and taste of the food on board, the main dining room wasnt much better , tough meat, slimy grey fish and nothing impressive except the norman love chocolate desserts, on similar length cruises we have eaten in the dining room every night with other lines on this one we ate maybe six times as it wasnt worth the effort to get ready.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BE

good size plenty of storage and wardrobe space, cabin generally ok apart from if you are expecting to get the sun on the balcony you wont as there is a massive roof overhang from the buffet above so we had no sun at all as it was always above the overhang
