OK, I could surely turn this into a negative, but why?
Unfortunately hubby fell onboard two hours prior to sailing. I was impatient to wait for elevators and Lso overly cautious about hanging on to stair railings due to noro virus concerns. Not a good move for 79 1/2 year old 6 ft 1 hubby who missed the last step. He was unable to get up so was taken to medical center where it was confirmed he had NOT sustained a fracture. Had that been the case, we would have had to disembark. Ultimately he spent 10 days in a wheelchair but we had amazing home nonetheless.
The ship is lovely and the staff was friendly and efficient. We met lovely people, ate good food, partook in onboard activities and enjoyed amazing views during our passage through the new Panama Canal locks. I was able to disembark at most ports knowing that hubby was safe and looked after onboard.
Cabin is small which in this case was a blessing as wheelchair could not be wheeled through door. My husband was able to negotiate short distance from bed to bathroom with his injured knee. Cabin has everything you need, it is just compact. We had plenty of storage space and I love the view that glass doors to balcony provide.
