We have taken this Sea of Cortez cruise four times now. We enjoy it, we visit a friend in La Paz. This cruise had some high and low points. High points for food, our Traditional Late Seating Tablemates and Wait Staff. Low points for scheduling ballroom dancing and Production shows. They changed the scheduling to make it difficult for Traditional Late Seating cruises to dance before dinner, and they didn't schedule any Production Shows at 10:00, so we saw none. Dancing and Production shows are two of the reasons we love sea days, and two of our major reasons for cruising.

Food was excellent in the Botticelli Dining Room, and at the Horizon Court Buffet. The new bedding is wonderful, makes sleeping very comfortable. We don't see any of the entertainment except the Production Shows because we usually dance instead.

Ports were good. I wish they would go to Ensenada instead of San Diego.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Cabin OY

Very nice cabin, standard Princess. Our view was only partially obstructed by the end of a lifeboat. Made the cabin a good value. Love the new bedding, it's comfy. I wish there were more drawers, fewer shelves. Steward service very good.
