My wife and I chose this cruise for our 50th anniversary because of its itinerary. We were soon disappointed. I will give the positives first. Embarkation and Disembarkation were extremely easy and organized. Our room steward was fantastic. Now the minuses. Food in main dining room and buffet was mediocre at best. We had an Italian and Mexican themed night but no Hawaiian night. Seemed unusual for a seven day Hawaiian cruise until I realized that the ship was too busy promoting the luau on Kauai, a Hawaiian night would have reduced the attendance at this luau. The buffet was very small, for a ship of this size, and was closed more than it was open. The swimming pool was out of service 6 of the 7 days on this cruise. They advertise free style dining but it is far from that. Without a reservation wait times can be very lengthy. Main dining room seemed understaffed because there would be several empty tables while many people were still waiting in reception area.

My wife and I have been on 8 cruises together and this was our most expensive, and yet it was worth far less. We now wished we had chosen some other cruiseline for our special occasion.
