This was our 3rd cruise with NCL. The first 2 were absolutely wonderful. We have 2 kids that enjoy it as well. From embarkation we noticed a difference. In the other 2 ships we were greeted with music, cheering, clapping, high 5s,and a very high level of energy from the crew. This ship, none of the above. Just scanned the cards and said welcome. We boarded at 1:20 and were told the rooms weren't ready yet and would be at 1:30. We went and got a drink and by that time we were able to get to our rooms. We immediately met our room steward, who we saw multiple times per day. Previous cruises we had not seen them more than once. We were in a balcony which was great. The only complaint about the room itself was the hair dryer which was awkwardly placed and got very hot. However, we had requested that the twin beds be placed together for a queen bed, pillow tops be placed on the bed, and it was our anniversary and sons birthday. Upon entering the room the beds were separated, there were no pillow tops, and we only had the card/cake for our son and not our anniversary. Our steward immediately fixed the beds but we were told that there were no more pillow tops. We had also ordered a 6 pack of water from the bar downstairs around dinner time and had to wait a full 24 hours to receive it after dinner the following day.

We got half of our luggage within the first hour, the other half, not until about 7pm, which was very odd. Our larger piece of Samsonite luggage had the handle ripped off which also had our custom luggage tag on it. We mentioned it and they "attempted" to fix it but couldn't stop we were given an insurance claim number and told to call corporate when we returned so we could be reimbursed. Haven't been home long enough to do this yet.

The first night we all woke up very thirsty. Myself and my son woke up with our allergies bothering us. The post nasal drip got progressively worse over the 10 days. By the time our trip ended we both ended up with a horrible hacking cough and severe allergy attacks, even with allergy medicine. Not sure what was in the air, or room, but it wasn't good. We met others who were experiencing the same.
