We chose this cruise because Wyndham Timeshare owners are now forced to use Norwegian as their only choice when using their timeshare points to book. This was the worst cruise we have ever taken. This ship has too many guests and not enough staff to take care of them. Even the ship's captain and crew admit that the guest to crew ratio is far below what they have on their smaller ships!! We had to wait 20+ minutes every time we wanted a drink from a bar when we were at sea, totally ridiculous. The food was average at best except for their Brazilian style specialty restaurant which was excellent and the service was outstanding. The mini-suite was much smaller than what we had experienced on other cruise lines. Many other problems happened to us while on this cruise. Trying to get to guest services was another extremely long wait due to very long lines and ONE person to take care of 4000 guests for internet issues, how absurd is that!! Not to mention that the internet was painfully slow!! We marked entertainment as average because all of the good shows were sold out on the first day of the cruise, again too many guests for the services offered/provided!!
Cabin was smaller than we expected. The shower and toilet doors were glass sliding doors and constantly rattled as the ship was in motion. We had to stuff towels between the glass sections so we could sleep. Very uncomfortable couch and very small passageway in the suite.
Just a big beach and we are not beach people.
Taxi took us to the local parts of the island to see how the Jamaicans really live.
We did some walking around and it might have been interesting to do more but did not feel well enough to do it.
Same, port area was full of stores and eateries. We ate at Jeanie's and the food was very good with a great view.
