Enjoyed the cruise! Ship was in excellent shape, for the most part the staff was extremely helpful. Everything went smoothly on the cruise. A few complaints: Staff at the front desk very less than personable. Seemed to resent anyone approaching them. Meet guests with a frown. Majority of the personnel were delightful, going the extra mile to please. Buffet food was warm at best. Forget the concept of hot. Forget the Oceania port tours (True of most cruise lines) Ports of call were great, with the exception of the Canary Islands. Felt too much time spent there and would have preferred an additional stop in Morocco. Entertainment was fair. The cruise lines own entertainment troupe was great, as were the flamingo dance group that was brought on board. Disappointing (to be polite) was the young singer and ‘one man band’, both of which appeared two nights each as the ‘entertainment’. All in all, this cruise with Oceania is definitely a step up from those on Princess, etc. This being stated we can see a change in Oceania since being purchased by Norwegian. Great smaller ship.
