I wanted to get some well deserved alone time with my beautiful wife. Orlando locals, we drove to Cape Canaveral. Self parking was expensive for the weekend at the B port ($64 for the weekend), but it is very convenient since you are right there by the ship.
We got to board around noon (which was busy and crowded. Looks like this is the most popular time to board). But after some wait we were in and check in was easy.
Take a backpack with the things you will need for the first couple of hours, since luggage will take some time to get to your room.
