The ship is quite attractive with conservative decor throughout. The layout is well thought out and it didn't take us long to learn our way about. The entrance to the main theatre is beautiful and the Versailles, one of the main dining rooms is arguably the most stunning I have seen. The atrium was not as grandiose as I have seen on other ships but was attractive and clean.

We had an inside cabin which was quite adequate. The bed was comfortable and there was sufficient storage. The highlight was the shower which had a sliding glass door, good water pressure and provided more room than on any basic cabin that we have had in the past on other cruise lines.

I have a few comments on the public areas. The seating in the main theatre was awkward at best because seats that were located on the inside could not be accessed without asking everyone to stand up. Very little legroom was provided. We bought the couples pass for the spa for $150. The spa is quite nice with a dedicated lap pool, a small thalassotherapy pool, a jacuzzi, and a sauna and steam room in the change room. As an added touch, there were 3 relaxation areas with stunning views where you could sit quietly, listen to music, or read your book. Well done Norwegian.
