Cruised with my husband, sister and 90 year old mother to celebrate her birthday. She had been on many Oceania cruises so this is her favorite line. Our experience began with the booking and reservation team. Unsatisfactory all the way through. Initial booker was curt and rude and subsequent calls to book special dinner venues and get travel documents proved to be even ruder encounters. When we got to the ship none of our dinner reservations were recorded - guess that was his way to retaliate when I asked to speak to his supervisor. Lots of attitude in that part of the operation.
Boarding experience was equally uninspired in the port of New York. Once we got on board the service was terrific. We were booked into rooms right over the dance floor and it was extremely loud. We contacted the front desk and did not get much help but the concierge immediately moved us to new rooms and apologized that the reservation people did not tell us about those particular rooms. We wanted rooms next to each other so she pushed these without noting the noise problem....another black mark for the reservation team. Concierge saved the day!
This was a nice itinerary and we took a few tours. They were organized and well run.
A little tight. Could hardly get past the bed to sitting area. Love the balcony because otherwise you can not open he window. Nicely appointed. Value was not there. This was an expensive cabin for what we got.
This is an awful port to get in and out of. Parking very expensive and no place to pick up or discharge my 90 year old mother. Baggage porters were awful. Just stood there while we unloaded from car.
Tendered port. We rented a car from national. They picked us up. Worked great!
Love Boston. Ship tied up and we were met by friends. Easy on and off.
This is a very "bleh" port. Would not go back. Not much to see.
Love Bermuda but wish they had docked in Hamilton. Dock was in the middle of nowhere so cab or booked excursion was mandatory. We were lucky to get a nice cab driver who gave us a little tour, took us into town and came back to take us to a favorite restaurant. We were familiar with Bermuda so enjoyed it but was a difficult port if you wanted to get off and walk around.
