We took this 3 day cruise from our home port to relax and take advantage of a great price. The Star was going into dry dock after our cruise but there no real signs of any work being done ahead of time.

Our cabin was a Club Class Mini Suite--very nice and a great location. The Club Class dining was wonderful with a special entree and Cesar Salad made on site each night. One night had an additional offering of Surf and Turf--one of the best filet mignon steaks I have ever had on a ship in any dining room. We were acknowledged each night and the staff was outstanding. We would definitely book Club Class again unless we are traveling with friends who did not do so...we would want to dine with them.

There were two very good comedy acts but the dancers did not get to do the main show as the seas were rough and it would have been too dangerous. The ship accomodated this by adding shows and moving the venues around. There were no pool activities as it was very cool outside, but plenty of games in the showrooms and bars. It was on par with other short repositioning cruises that we have been on.
