Seventh time on the New York to Ft Lauderdale repositioning cruise, We couldn't have asked for better weather. The staff and passengers were a joy to sail with. We literally had no problems at all.

We had a replacement port of St Kitts for St Martin. We had a private tour which was very enjoyable. Saw a lot of the island, our guide was very informative. Antigua, we always stay around the port area, as with Princess, it seems to aways be a port of call, and being there so many times, we are bored with it. And Bonaire is always nice, we did a ships beach tour, which if by hindsight, we could have booked at a cheaper rate on our own.

We had a car rental in Ft Lauderdale, so for us there was no rush to get off, however, given our time, we disembarked earlier than the time, went right through customs and were at the airport 15 minutes after we left the ship.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin DD

However, going forward....I have read and known about this, but never encountered it. We were originally booked Marina deck. At final payment we were moved to Emerald deck, which I don't really care for, but it was to a deluxe balcony and couldn't have been more pleased to have a small sofa to sit on during the day. One evening I was relaxing in the cabin after dinner, when I start hearing this boom boom boom...sticking my head out the door, and looking at the time, I was totally surprised to hear it coming from the theater. It was 8pm. Come again 10pm,second show, here it goes again. Then one sea day, we hear the rehearsal music. We have had forward cabins on Emerald deck before and never heard anything from the theater, and was quite surprised to hear it on the Regal, being a newer ship, I figure it would have had more insulation to keep the music contained. So, if one books a forward cabin, be prepared for the boom boom boom from the shows.
