Overall, we had a really good time and a great cruise. The Norwegian Star is a lovely ship, but in desperate need of updating. Particularly the seating in the theater and in some of the lounges. A lot of the theater seats are broken, and in the lounges, the seating needs to either be replaced or reupholstered. You sink in and it's a bit hard to get out of. A lot of them are dirty and stained.

The shows were very good and nicely performed. The ships shows were excellent. The young Russian couple that performed some amazing aerial feats were amazing. The magician was very good, even though we are not too fond of magic shows.

The food in the main Dining room was very good and the service was excellent. O'Sheehans was also very good, although at times the service seemed lacking...probably due to overcrowding.

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin IC

The cabin although on the small side was very nice. Cabin steward was attentive and did a nice job keeping the room clean. Fortunately we brought along our over the door shoe bag for all excess items for storage and it worked great. Plenty of hangers for clothes, and enough drawers and shelves for most other items.

Port Reviews

Aruba

We always get off the ship in Aruba. This time we didn't take a tour, but enjoyed a walk through the down town area and did some shopping.

Curacao

We did a private tour with Irie tours. Had a great time.
