The Panama Canal was on our bucket list! It did not disappoint. We also enjoyed most of the other stops (Curacao, Aruba, Puerto Limon) but don't need to see Half Moon Cay again anytime soon.
Our initial experience in the MDR was so-so but it improved from there on and we could not find fault with the food after that. Must have been an off night. The Canaletto and Pinnacle Grill both provided excellent meals, although I wish they would vary their menu. The staff is invariable cheerful and courteous. The prize goes to the Guest Services desk: On our departure morning my husband found out he had packed all his shoes in his checked bag which was picked up at midnight. When we notified the GSD they located our bag, had someone deliver it to our door and take it away again after we extracted his sandals. Not only that but they had someone deliver a pair of slippers from the spa just in case they couldn't find the bag. All within 15 minutes!
The icing on our travel cake was the presence of a fantastic classical quintet in 'Lincoln Center Stage' and after we heard them once they became a mainstay for all our travel days.
We stayed in a signature suite and it was spacious, especially the bathroom, and how nice to have enough closet space!!
