We chose this cruise as the ship was smaller, great for first time cruisers. So much to see and do on the ship and at the ports.
Everything went smoothly once we moved cabins. We were first booked into cabin 7640, it is right above the piano in the Schooner Bar. There are six speakers on the ceiling right below the bed. This made for an interesting first and second night. It sounded like the piano guy was in bed with us - it was so loud. We spoke to guest services and they moved us to Cabin 8582 and it was lovely.
I have severe allergies and the staff looked after all my meals making sure I had a wide variety of choices and excellent foods.
We loved our cabin, quiet, clean, well maintained and comfortable.
We wandered around town on our own. Lots to see and do. The dollor is euro so you need to keep in mind the exchange. Lots of old buildings to explore and see, including the library, fort and town hall.
It was independance day in Barbados and pouring rain, we walked around for a while but the rain won out. The shops at the dock were open but that was about it.
