Always love a good Royal Caribbean cruise and this one was great. Galveston was a bit out of the way for us ( would prefer New Orleans again), but RCCL is worth it. We were only 4 of us this year instead of usual dozen or so, and had just as good of a time.

Very smooth embarkation and disembarkation. The only minus I would say is how much I looked forward to seeing our departure by sailing at 4 (Winter cruises don't have much daylight after 4), we didn't sail until almost 6:30. One reason given was late arrival to port - don't think so as rooms were ready by 1:00 and luggage there. That would be extremely quick turn around. We were also told there were divers under the ship due to an inspection of the propeller due to a leak. Not expounded on so do know if it was something in or something out.

Our room steward Junior is a miracle worker and the wait staff on board were fantastic. I love being able to visit with them and always be made to feel welcome and that whatever I wanted would be no problem to handle.

Cabin D2

LOVED IT! Very well insulated as we never had any noises from surrounding rooms or hallway or anything.
