We have been on quite a few cruises. This was unique. 29 passengers 24 of them Canadian. We soon knew everyones name and home town. They were a friendly group. Its not often you can say you have chatted with everyone on the ship. The ship was comfortable in a quiet non flashy way. The crew were very friendly and helpful. Phiem, the cruise director was the boss and an exceptional man. Quietly warm, sincere and friendly he was willing to help with any question or problem. The hotels in Siem Reap and Saigon were very nice - better than I would book for myself. The itinerary was interesting and about the right amount of activity. It was not particularly vigorous but required some agility getting in and out of sampans, oxcarts tuk tuks and tunnels. The guides were completely familiar with the history of the sites we visited. Angkor Wat was incredible. Definitely worthy of a spot high on your bucket list.
If you are tired of Miami to Miami this will knock your socks off.
Not really big, but big enough. Good bed, quiet with a great view of the passing river banks, boats and temples.
A nice little city with lots to see. Worth spending a few extra days. Angkor Wat is worth 2 days, truly spectacular. One of those places that can't be captured on photos.
