The Carnival Conquest was ok. The problem I had the most was the food was always cold. Each dinner service, anytime I went to the buffet the food was always cold. The bbq place gives very small portions and has very limited serving times which was very disappointing. The menu lacked side dishes. There is more salads and potato salads on the buffet than regular good old fashion side dishes. The dinner service was ok but the wait times were not so great at all. And of course cold food. There not very many great options on the free room service menu either. just sandwiches and salads. The cost of the foods listed on the room service menu lack in flavor and is very limited to options as well. The blue iguana and the deli and Guys were my saving grace. The food was always hot. The pizza pirate is not very good pizza. The Conquest come off as shopping boat. Buy buy buy is what the theme of the boat seems to be. There was not a lot of entertainment shows. The comedy shows were great! There were more shopping seminars then the law should allow. The prices for the spa and excursions are super high. Our cabin was always clean. The cleanliness of the boat was great. Each port we visited (Antigua, St. Kitts, San Juan Grand Turks) seem have like a hundred jewelry stores on top of all the jewelry sales on the boat! I would do another Carnival cruise just not the conquest.
