Our Carnival experience was a complete disaster. Throughout the duration of our trip, we spent a large portion of our time at customer service. When we first arrived at our stateroom, we were overwhelmed with the odor of cigarette smoke. We immediately notified guest services due to it irritating our sinuses. We were informed that they would bring in an air purifier. In the meantime, we decided to go eat lunch. After about an hour in a half, we returned to our rooms to find that they hadn’t fixes the issue. We saw an attendee in the hallway and asked her if she could address the issue. We left the room again due to the strong smell. Hours later we returned, and the air purifier was in our room. During this time, we realized that our AC was not working and was intermitted throughout the rest of the trip. The next major issue was the intense rocking of the boat due to technical issues caused by 1 of the engines going out (that’s what we were told at least). During this time, I fell and another member of our group which resulted in her going to the infirmary. She still has bruises on her hip and I have a scrap on my knee. The last major issue we had was a leaky ceiling in our stateroom. We heard dripping and noticed our ceiling was leaking. We went to customer service and Luis and another employee in white came to our room to see what was going on. They put a trash under the leak and told us they would contact the plumber. We were told all our stuff needed to be moved and packed because the plumber would have to remove the ceiling panels to fix the issue. Throughout the night we could not sleep because of the constant dripping sound. Once again, we were not comfortable on our vacation. After hours of going back in forth to customer service the next day the plumber fixed the issue. At this point, we were ready to get off the boat due to all of the awful experiences, but had to stay on the boat even longer due to the “propulsion failure” which I’m sure you all were aware of. The delay greatly affected our travel, work, and family plans. Overall our entire vacation was by far the worst I’ve experienced traveling through Carnival. This trip was not worth the investment or time in my opinion.

Cabin Review

Interior

Our Cabin had a leak in the ceiling and the AC did not work properly. READ my review above. I will also post pictures after our lawyer says it's ok to release them.
