This was our first cruise ever and we liked the itinerary. The view leaving Stockholm sailing the archipelago was incredible!! Also the ship had been christened the month before and everything sparkled. The crew was phenomenal ( they smiled all the time!), the staterooms spacious and comfortable. One of the best things is that it is a small ship—there were only 898 passengers—and crew one for every two people. At least it seemed like that. There were many places from which to choose for a meal, because the food everywhere was delicious. We loved Mamsen’s for lunch. And because everything included there was no nickel and Diming. Being able to dock in the ports was nice—can’t imagine having to take tenders to go ashore. Frankly, we liked the fact that there were no kids running around ( no screaming around the pool)!!

The only complaint is figuring out how to use the washer and dryer. A video on demand would have been helpful.

We liked it so much we signed up for our second cruise—on Viking of course.

Cabin Review

Sandy was our steward. He was wonderful. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom

Aalborg

The guide was the best of all the guides. She was just terrific. Walked at a great pace, full of information. Great sense of humor. She even sang for us at the end!

Eidfjord

Interesting tour, cute town
