No matter the situation my family always have a good time. This ship is very old and is in need of a face lift. I hate that Carnival did away with some of the things that people love about cruising on the older smaller ships. i.e. (lobster on elegant night, calypso band playing island music, games out by pool on sea days, 2 shows a night). The lido deck food was okay. Never very hot just luke warm at best. We didn't eat out there as much as we usually do. Ate must of our meals in dining room. The pool deck area on this one was way too small. The shows in the theater were terrible. We always look forward to those. We didn't last 10 minutes. This was my 20th cruise. 13th on Carnival as a Platinum member. We love Carnival, but won't sail on this one again.
