Our parents booked this cruise on the Liberty of the Seas as a treat for the entire family. It was the perfect cruise line and ship for our pack of all ages. The 'seniors' to the babies were entertained and happy the entire time. Very nice people on the cruise, very polite and respectable cruisers. Alot of fun for all ages. We did have some trouble getting some deck chairs as people left their stuff on multiple chairs when it wasn't necessary. The service was amazing and our deluxe beverage package paid for itself in the first few days. Lots of ways to get the kids drinks too without buying them a package. The kids absolutely thrived on having complete freedom, a test that they passed easily. Did excursions in Roatan and Costa Maya. In Costa Maya we did the Adventure Water Slides and Zip Lining - extremely fun, but be careful. You can easily get knocked around so don't do more than what your common sense says you can. My 12 year old boy left with an extra large goose egg from the green slide. Roatan is very very poor and there is only one dilapitated road on the entire island. The horseback riding was good. My kids didn't want to swim after they experienced the (thin) horses pooping in the ocean. The photographers took terrible pictures but for $45 I couldn't really complain. No excursions in Cozumel, which was fine with us. Six (6) ships in port at the same time and it was the warmest day we had - perfect to take advantage of an 'empty' ship. The baby pool was free of big kids and lots of space to take advantage of. Didn't like the fact that our toddler in a swim diaper was not allowed to go into the wading area or bigger splash zone. Conclusion - still a fantastic experience and we have already decided to cruise for the holidays next year!

Forgot to mention the nursery. The staff was great and took excellent care of the children. Don't forget to make reservations on the first day! Dinner times fill up fast as they only allow 6-8 kids based on ages. I over-reserved and then adjusted as necessary- super affordable too.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin G

Very intimate cabin, especially when you pack two adults and a baby playpen inside. Worst mattresses ever and the playpen was too small for our two year old. He had to sleep with his head cocked to the side or his legs bunched up. Lots of little storage compartments to fit all our stuff into. We brought a ton of stuff and still managed to unpack everything. Forces you to keep things tidy.
