We choose the Dream because it was the biggest and closest ship to us. Perfect timing for the holiday while the kids were out of school and very inexpensive. Our cabin steward and waiter staff were great. There was so much to do and eat on the ship that we didn’t get a chance to experience it all so most likely we’ll try to make it up on our next cruise. The excursions were great. Key West parasailing and beach, Freeport (best port on this cruise) glassbottom boat, jet ski, banana boat, Nasasau Atlantis. The food was great. I hope the blue iguana taco, pasta bar, and pig anchor expand their hours so cruisers can experience and enjoy them more often than a few hours on sea days. My kids keep telling me how much they appreciate what we do for them which really made my day. Embarkation and disembarkation in New Orleans is quick and smooth, save your money on FTTF at this port. Checking in online makes it a lot easier.
We really enjoyed our cabin. The steward, Herry, was great and exceeded our expectations.
Cafe de monde beignets is a must.
