Port Reviews

Nha Trang

The tour includes a fresh coconut drink at Four Season Hotel, but I felt like sitting in a beach side cafe name "Four Season".

Bangkok (Laem Chabang)

It took too long to go thru the custom. Ship arrived by 8:00 am, our assigned immigration time was 11:00 am. Bus to Bangkok takes 2.5 hours one way. That means you have spent 5 hours in traffic for Bangkok. Got very little time in the city. Luckily, ship stayed overnight at Laemchabang, we can come back to the ship at night time. Suggest take the cruise excursion "Bangkok on your own", then you can have the priority to go thru immigration.

Singapore

Ship stayed in Singapore overnight. It needs to go thru custom face to face again each time you leaving and returning to the ship. That means if you leave the ship and enter to the city for Day 1, you have to go thru immigration for enter Singapore. When you come back to the ship by night time, you have to go thru immigration for departure Singapore. Next day (Day 2), if you leave the ship, you have to go thru immigration for enter Singapore again. It is stupid and waste of time. Beside that the Singapore immigration works very slow and inefficient. Get ready for line up each time!
