My husband and I were very pleased with the cleanliness of the ship. The food was fantastic, best of any of the ten cruises we have been on and the entertainment was GREAT! Our cabin steward was professional and did a wonderful job of keeping our cabin clean and fresh every day! She was the best we have ever had. We had several issues with lights in the cabin and she had them all fixed immediately, each time. Our only complaint would be the cabin we were given, 5650 by Chip, our agent. For some reason there was a constant banging, outside the cabin, we did not know if it was coming from the upper floor or lower floor. It would happen throughout the night and even though we called the desk twice, it was never resolved. I had to wear earplugs at night, however, almost unacceptable really but we managed. We have never been on a lower floor and I would suggest to book between the 7-9 floor and mid-ship. I would not be on the fifth floor again, on any ship, too low. Besides the assigned cabin, our experience on the Norwegian Star was wonderful!
