Our first cruise in 2015 was such a wonderful experience that we decided in 2017 to bring family along, go for a longer cruise (5 days) and also upgrade from a balcony cabin to a suite - best choice ever.

Besides the cabin upgrade we also again opted for the "Easy On-board" which I strongly recommend purely because of the time you save in getting settle on-board prior to departure.

Our least expectations were to have the same experience in 2017 than what we had in 2015 and surprisingly we were impressed again - from the moment we stepped onto MSC soil the last moment of return we cannot criticize anything. The staff was friendly, especially our cabin attendant Kadec who looked after our cabin like it was his own. Even our waiter Joseph was such a interesting man to chat too and he, with his assistance Ashley made our dinner seating’s a lovely experience.

Cabin Review

Cabin Suite

Never will we go for less - the suite was well layed out with ample room and storage space, perfectly located on board in terms of accessibility and views.

The bathroom is more than what is required especially with the bath and shower combined option.

Port Reviews

Portuguese Island

We booked our spot at the exclusive breach area where our towels and beach recliners were waiting on us and food and beverage easy to reach, we enjoyed the relaxing waves and a gentle swim in the ocean.

Maputo

Upon arrival at about 12:00 we took a walk to the Train station and Market in Maputo but to experience the Maputo people we went to a nearby pub for 2M beers - what a lovely experience although a lot is similar to South African city centres.
