After a wonderful Grand European Tour River Cruise on Viking Skadi this past May we decided to try a Viking Ocean Cruise. This was our 11th Cruise overall and one of the best. The ship with ~980 possible passengers had only 582 and crew ratio was all most 1:1.

Warm, inviting public spaces in favorites Explorers Louge and the Living Room Atrium. Food was delicious, hot & well served. Speciality restaurant s Manfredi’s Rib Eye a must to order (share it unless you can handle 20+ ounces) and The Chef’s Table tasting menu ( changes every three days) were outstanding and at no extra charge Wine & Beers included at lunch & dinner.

Entertainment Broadway-class singers & dancers we got to know thoughout the voyage. Enrichment lectures were well done and enlightening. Shore excursions included were good for Caribbean ports. Read more
