Since it was a Sunday the cab ride from Port Authority to terminal was quick. We entered the port about 10:30 am, we were one of the first to arrive. We proceeded to the security line, waited a few minutes, walked to check-in (where they were having some computer trouble) after check-in we were guided to a long terminal area where we waited for our zone number to be called. We were told that they would start calling zones at 12pm, which they did but something happened at the start, they called Zone 1 then stopped, the process after this was very slow, we were Zone 6, it probably took about 35 minutes to make it to us, then they had some trouble with the gangway. All and all we were eating lunch on Lido at 1pm and our rooms were ready at 2:00pm. Luggage arrived quickly sometime between 3:30 and 4:30pm. Others were not so lucky with the check-in process and we didn't leave port until 5pm. Carnival did send an apology letter for the delay. Our cabin was inside. It had a small stocked refrigerator which Joseph opened for us and we were able to store my BF's medicine in it. If your a diabetic you can also get a "Sharp Trap box" for the needles. You can also get a bag of ice off the room service menu for your cooler. The room also has a safe, 3 big closets for your clothes, some drawers on the desk, and room under the bed the your luggage. One outlet in the bedroom, one outlet in the bathroom. Dinner: The best was the Fillet Mignon, it was cooked just right and tasty. The portions are a bit smaller but IMO just right, you can always get more. I'm not a fussy eater, the only thing we didn't care for was the Seafood New burg. We ate in the dining room every night, we had great table mates on either side.

Lido: The sushi is NOT on Lido it's on Deck 5 and is right now served from 5:00pm-8pm. It was tasty and the Wasabi was hot. The other special bars serve Lunch only, bottom line is if you want to eat them do it on your sea days. That includes the Pasta bar, Mongolian Wok, Burrito Bar, Tandori. Deli is opened to 11pm and Pizza 24 hours. On Latin night we had hamburgers. They should have done a Mexican buffet. Buffet runs until 9:30, nothing after that. You can order room service.

Show: Dancin in the Streets was excellent, I like Country music, so the Country show was great, it is a theatrical production so you don't really have to like country to enjoy the show, The legends show with the on board guests was good, the other were Hypnotist and Juggling which were OK. The Comedy was excellent: we saw 4 shows of the first 2 comedian, and 2 shows of the 2nd set of comedians, all very very good.
