We chose this cruise on a dare from friends. They wanted to go and we did want to see the Rhine, well it was more than we could ask for. Great crew and Magnificent food and excursions that were some of the best we have seen. We could not have been happier. I would recommend Viking River cruise anytime. The region is outstanding as you see all the Castles and the small towns. such a feeling to be with the locals. Looking forward to takin other Viking cruises to destinations that I have not been to. The cook on the ship was unique in his delivery of the dishes and made you feel you were eating what the locals eat, but presented in an fancy way. The Captain did an outstanding job sailing the ship through the locks and keeping us posted on any changes. It was a wonderful experience.
