First river cruise. Thought it a save and easy way to experience Europe for the first time. The food was excellent and the shore excursions were well planned. We met some wonderful people and created some lasting memories. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They all wen out of their way to assist us and make the cruise an enjoyable experience. We were impressed with the knowledge of the tour guides and found the guided tours very useful.

The only thing that I thought was not appropriate was the tipping at the end. I have no problem tipping the staff. The fact that there were two envelopes: one for the Cruise Director and the other to be divided among the staff. I think the Cruise Director should share with everyone else and not have a separate tip. I got extra envelopes and tipped specific staff that deserved something special and then tipped the staff as a whole.

We have already schedule our next river curse with Viking for next spring.
