We chose this cruise because of the 12-day Itinerary and leaving out of Baltimore, eliminating the need to fly. Easy to drive to the port. The service was great, everyone was friendly, attentive and helpful. The ship is getting a little old so needs to be refurbished but putting that aside she is a beautiful ship. The cruise director and activities director were both great. The entertainment was a little lacking. Because of illness, one of the shows had to be switched and they put Rookie on instead (they were fabulous) but many people missed this show because of the last-minute change. I think an announcement could have been made announcing this switch because Rookie was the best show during the whole cruise. Some of the entertainment was not up to par and the Production shows are getting a little old - time to bring something new to the Grandeur.

All in all - a great cruise on a great ship!

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

The cabin was nice and clean but the bed was really uncomfortable. Because we had an adjoining room (not with anyone we knew) we could clearly hear everything that was said in the cabin next door. Would not recommend this cabin. The woman next door was up and talking loudly at 6:15 every day - did not get to sleep late once! Finally put a note on the door asking her to lower her voice early in the morning.
